In Oklahoma and thereabouts a larder is called a” pantry”. Not to be confused with “panty” which is the same all over.

A lady down the street from me when I was growing up hung her panties on the line to dry. She was a big woman.

I swear they were a yard wide and four feet tall if they were an inch.
