I deleted my facebook account a few months ago. Best thing I ever did. I would probably hate everyone I know had I had it active during the past month. On second thought, then I would know who to avoid.

I limit my FB friends to people I know from Real Life (TM) and wish to remain in active contact with. As soon as somebody starts getting too political in their posting, I unfriend them, There are plenty of political blogging sites.
