Nobody “owns” BLM. It’s not a party or an organization. Nobody decides whether you are affiliated or not - you make yourself affiliated, and then you are.

I remember the ongoing discussion here about the Occupy Wall Street folks and how anyone associated with the movement was therefore responsible for the actions of anyone else associated with it.
