Wouldn’t the only way to “sever” Assange’s internet connection be to cut the internet to whole embassy?

Wouldn’t that cause a further diplomatic incident between Ecuador and the United Kingdom, which the United Kingdom has been hesitant to do? Wouldn’t it also, almost certainly, be a clear violation of diplomatic customs, etc.?
