Things like this are why I try to tip well (try = when I can remember to; sometimes the mental math fails me in the heat of the moment). I still maintain that every U.S. citizen should be required to work at least one customer service job for a duration not less than three months, in order to learn empathy and how to deal with completely fucking unhinged morons.

I just tip 20%. Easier to do in my head. Multiply by 2 and move the decimal over one space.
