My millennial niece, who supported Bernie in the primaries and voted for Hillary in the general election, is certain that Social Security won’t be there for her generation. This is what the GOP has succeeded in doing, ripping the fabric of the social safety net, destroying a sense of community, and turning this country into a libertarian nightmare of each person for themselves. They really want to return to the America before FDR.
