So let me see if I understand this correctly. If an American is killed on American soil by a Muslim or illegal immigrant, then the death is a tragedy and must be avenged by expelling the Muslim or illegal immigrant and imposing broad immigration restrictions all around.

If, however, the American, or Americans are killed on American soil by a legal citizen, white guy with a gun, then the victims brought it on themselves by not allowing formal coercive prayer in schools? Is that about right?
