Tiller was singled out for prosecution and ridicule because his actions were the most egregious of abortionists. He performed hundreds of late term abortions at (his price of) $5000 each and without good medical justification. Regardless one’s position, Pro-Life or Choice, Tiller was one bad guy.

Medical justification was required BY LAW. The prosecution he was singled out for failed because he proved he had followed that law.
