there were other beliefs of the time in judaism that didn’t survive the era, such as the debate about resurrection in “the world to come”, whatever that was supposed to be
My point is that “it” did survive - and today we call it Christianity.
The core of Christianity is the teachings of variants of Jewish sects from the early to mid 1st century. Add heavy doses of Hellenic philosophy, and a few other pagan practices here and there… and Voilà!
