I limit my FB friends to people I know from Real Life (TM) and wish to remain in active contact with. As soon as somebody starts getting too political in their posting, I unfriend them, There are plenty of political blogging sites.

I must be friends with a bunch of assholes then. It got to the point where it was faster to delete FB than to unfriend them all :)
