This is important. None of these people were elites or well off. What this points to is how big a difference going to good schools can be. Going to Harvard made no difference for Jarad Kushner. He was going to be the same well-connected putz with wealth at his disposal regardless. He should have gone to a decent state school. But it does make a difference for kids whose families don’t have these advantages to go to these institutions. She has it exactly backwards.
