We have to constantly fight for what this nation is supposed to stand for. Emma Lazarus must be spinning with those unfortunate refugees who are detained by DT and Co.

It would help to see some of that fight in our own leadership. Rather than the hypocritical comments of a woman who has not faced real difficulty in winning reelection in years opine that the face of the new generation of Democrats had the same odds of winning her seat as a glass of water.
