I’m an Obama fan, but he bought into this one. Hadda be there, I guess.

IIRC, wasn’t one of the planks of his campaign, a point he hammered home more than once, that Afghanistan was the “forgotten war” or something along those lines, that Bush and the GOP were wrong for “ignoring” it, and that as president he’d see to it that the war was “won”?
