Dangit. I’m in the second poorest county in the second poorest state, I guess we get ‘second poorest city’, too. (Not mine, it would be in the poorest county.)

I came in late to the not-so-long-ago discussion of ‘colonias’. I live in one. Everything with a name around here is a colonia. Except one ‘company town’ of yore.

My wife and I are about the poorest people in our village.
