the actual statement was sondland does not recall a, b, or c. nothing about disputing.

Unfortunately, buying ambassadorships is standard practice in both Democratic and Republican administrations. But, before Trump, most of these ill-equipped amateurs deferred to the advice of the seasoned professionals at the embassy and did not engage in nefarious backdoor transactions.
