This is one of my major bitch points with tech companies today. IoT, all these integrated apps and online services for things based on the assumption that everyone, everywhere in the country has a solid internet connection and awesome cell signal. Maybe if some of these products ever got tested OUTSIDE the urban centers in which they are designed…

But the urban centers are where it will be profitable. The commercials might show the middle of nowhere, but I bet there isn’t the population density to make the tech/app supportable as a business there.
