I saw him on 60 minutes about 20 years ago feeling guilty about not being able to protect the president. I didn’t know he wrote a book. If I were president, I would want him and McCarthy on my detail.

As I would assume anyone on the current detail would compare.

btw, the judge here in San Diego tossed the appeal of the tea party marine, he’s fighting the Marine ruling that he gets kicked out. His tea party lawyer and the ACLU are going to take it to a higher court. I read today that his original postings, that he deleted after getting flack, were pretty damn bad against Obama. He’d never salute him etc.

Does anyone remember protesting the Iraq war? We were so ruined and unpatriotic. Now? No problem.
