Yeah, I didn’t get his behavior. If he thinks he is any safer by leaving a room with a CCW in just because he knows about it? I’d venture to say that in WA state, he is constantly surrounded by CCW and has no clue.

Something to keep in mind is that the Council might have a by-law in place forbidding the carrying of weapons, etc. in their meetings.

I know my fraternity had such a by-law regarding the fraternity house; banning guns, drugs, etc. to be brought into or stored in the house. There was an alumni officer attending grad school who did CCW due to where he was living at the time. He probably was violating the rule on numerous occasions (and definitely at least once since I asked him before a meeting once if he was carrying at the time), but since he wasn’t an asshole about it no one ever brought it up.
