Given that we’ve just had an election full of paid Russian trolls, and the methodologies of Vladislav Surkov seemingly all over the place, that we’re taking any of the Rogue accounts at face value is a little…alarming.

Which, also, is how that works: How can we, the public, ensure that what we’re reading is “true”? And how do we navigate when everything we hear could be coming from the same source?

The national park service protest accounts are in line with what the NPS accounts had been doing right up until they were shut down from posting climate data. Plus they are in total support with the March for Science protest.

It’s the “Rogue POTUS” account that gets me. It’s possible that the hiring standards by President Bannon were so shitty that he hired people unbelievably unfaithful to the regime… but it is still such a ridiculous stretch of the imagination. Furthermore, most White House staffers likely believe the group think that Question Hound** has shown time and time again.

I don’t think it’s Rage Furby behind it, as what Louise Mensch has posited. But it doesn’t pass the sniff test.

We ought to keep a wary eye at all times.
