I think people always romanticize their own childhoods. I’ve seen it with my generation and the 90’s when they talk about kids of today. And hell I’ve done it to some extent too.

The Daily Show or Colbert Report had a piece on that childhood nostalgia thing several years ago. It was pretty funny, but spot on.
