I know! Can you believe this? I never went to the Winterland my whole life…Went to the Greek..Santa Cruz…Tons of nightclubs in the Valley..but never..winterland

sheesh, I went to all the venues
check out 70’s rock venues in the bay area and I was at every one and even produced some shows

I kept a big old box of souvenirs for the kids that I sprung out a couple years ago when they started to get interested in music

only my youngest took up music (guitar)
and I had a guy who played in one of that vintage, who lived nearby, give him lessons for a year or so

and even though he offered modern “music” instruction
son wanted to only play 70’s

and damnit
I so wanted to be the manager of my kid’s band
but he wants to be a freaking doctor
