Bush I and II were dissed because they didn’t show compassion during the Rodney King/LA Riots incident and Hurricane Katrina respectively.

Regardless of what decorum or policy we THINK a POTUS should obey, citizens want and need to see him respond to what we think of as important.

Whatever Ed seems to think, President Obama was and is “damned if he did, damned if he didn’t” comment on this.
