It really is disturbing to me how little Trump regards our allies. I mean I thought the Bush administration’s treatment of France and Germany during the lead up to Iraq was pretty crappy but Trump does not care about any of our allies.

It’s more, I think, that he has no understanding of geopolitics. At all. His thought - or what is passed off as thought, doesn’t come from him because he’s too stupid and lazy to make concepts or conclusions - come from others, specifically Manafort.
