Let’s remember: it’s not as though Frank Luntz has a real ideology or believed in anything. He’s a gun for hire who hitched himself to the Republican party, not because he cared about anything (except maybe tax cuts for the wealthy).

I don’t approach it as a binary. You can still give measured approval, but still remind them of their past misdeeds.

Think of it as operant conditioning, and you’re training a bad puppy.
