Btw, gang, I have made it safely to Lubbock. It’s cold and rainy here. I managed to retrieve my Lubbock van from long term storage and got across town without being broadsided, although I was cut off a number of times by giant compensator pickups. The trick is to not stand still for any longer than necessary, since Lubbock is reported to lead the nation in stationary object collisions. (I keep my most beat up and least valuable vehicle, 04 Dodge minivan, in Lubbock so I won’t have to rent a car or, Cthulhu forbid, rely on yokel cabs and Uber service for transport.)
