I remember when Bush did the same thing several years ago. IIRC, the recess appointments are temporary, so Obama would still have to go through Congress to get his appointments set. I could be wrong on that, though. It doesn’t matter anyways, the right will still throw a fit about it, conveniently ignoring that Bush did the same thing.
