2016 continues to suck something awful, especially for ELP fans who saw Keith Emerson die earlier this year. https://t.co/NXaEPGxtO8

Yes, 2016 continues to suck something awful. Yet another musical legend passed away. Greg Lake was one of the cornerstones of prog rock and his talents were on display both as members of King Crimson and ELP as well as his solo career. I got to meet ELP way back during the Black Moon tour and the band was extremely gracious with their time.
Emerson committed suicide earlier this year.
That happens to be the best Christmas song from the past couple of decades IMO. It highlights his lyrical and playing abilities (and is actually an attack on the craven materialism that has taken over the season).
Those latter two are from the glory days of ELP.
