Here’s the thing (y’all already know) - for all the claims that they care about America, the wingnuts most definitely do not.

What they care about is their own riches. Or at least the assuaging of their personal existential crisis.

If you really believed that the US will be around for centuries to come, and you really believed you cared about the US, then you’d care about providing for the future people of the US.
