I guess he missed the part where plastic became popular because it cut shipping costs.

Most restaurants in California, at least around me, have gone back to paper/cardboard to go boxes instead of styrofoam. And I’d much prefer if a lot of the stuff I get in plastic containers came in glass ones instead.
