There are plenty of reasons why he doesn’t “tackle” racism:

1. he is, himself, a racist
2. he believes being racist helps him politically (this is probably what that article is about)
3. he doesn’t actually give a shit about racism
4. he doesn’t actually give a shit about doing the job of POTUS
5. he’s a petty, selfish, man with a fragile ego who is scared of the world he lives in
