Not to the same extent, GW was unpopular with the majority, not with the minority and the majority may have disliked him, but only few hated him and believed he’d impose martial law for example. I think the hatred on the right is much deeper then the disapproval of GW’s ever was. Yes, there are idiots on both sides, but this hatred it more wide spread then I recall.
