To be fair, I wasn’t talking about my OB/GYN. I’ve never brought up the subject with her. I’m on the Pill, which is fine by me, since I’m already on daily meds for my PCOS and am already in the habit of taking pills at the same time daily. The Pill helps keep my hormone levels in check and the prevention of pregnancy is an added bonus.

However, I’ve heard horror stories about women and girls being denied IUDs and tubal ligations even though they know they don’t want kids at all, just because their doctors tell them that it’s a rash decision and that they might change their minds later on. That’s what I was referring to.
