Kasich needs at least a solid second place in NH to stand a chance.

If Kasich starts to make a move, here’s hoping his actual record and personality get an airing. Thus far, he’s the “sane/moderate/nice” one, but that is so far from true, it’s not even funny.

Charles P. Pierce mentioned one of his foibles about charter schools and noted that, while blogs have been following his antics all along, they’re starting the be covered in the main Ohio newspapers.

plunderbund.com will be a great source for Democrats, should sleazy John get very far. (And maybe the Plain Dealer will be forced to re-issue the video of his ugly performance at their candidate chat during the governor’s race. They pulled it down because it made Johnny look bad, then sued any site that had archived it and kept it up. It went down the memory hole. I saw it when it was first up, and it really showed the true Kasich. Snide, snarly, sarcastic, wouldn’t answer questions.)
