This sounds silly but do you got any good tips on Slovak cultural norms? I know you’re in the Czech Republic but I want to be a good guest in my ancestral homeland this summer lol.

Just be polite, I’d say. Cultural norms aren’t too different between Czech Republic and Slovakia - other than Slovaks tend to be more religious in general (though not like the Poles) being polite is always good. Giving up your seat on a tram for an elderly or disabled person, etc. Making eye contact when you say ‘Na zdraví’ (cheers) in a bar. That sort of thing.
