Another thing that needs to happen is to acknowledge Trump didn’t come out of nowhere.

That’s true for his entire domestic policy. But his foreign policy? That certainly appears to have emerged from nowhere. Except for Rand Paul and Dana Rohrabacher, where are there antecedents to Trump’s Russia love among Republican politicians in Washington?
