It seems the Pope is very upset about the police raids in Belgium on a retired Archbishop and certain Church offices. In fact he is so upset that he has summoned the ambassador from Belgium to the Vatican to give him what for in person.

Once again the prime consideration seems to be defending the sanctity of the Church and it’s priests rather than allowing civil authorities to investigate the systemic abuse of children. Honestly, just how “tone deaf” are these people?
