Uh oh - Mandy Nagy (aka Liberty_Chick) has invented a new scare story for the Twitter cons:

I’d never heard of this, so for the hell of it I Googled the phrase to see if it’s a real thing - here’s what I found:

Doxing itself is real. It’s when someone releases personal info about you, usually gained through some hacking, on the web. “Dox” is hacker-ese for “documents.”

I’ve generally seen it associated with Anonymous when they attack people. Ars Technicha has had some decent coverage of them over the last year or so. I’m wondering if Liberty Chick found one of these stories and decided it to bullshit it up, like the swatting stuff.
