Something has to give- and if it won’t, somebody needs to pushed, Hard.

Problem with that is

If it’s the Israeli’s doing the pushing, the entire region could ignite (not to mention almost universal condemnation)
If it’s Hamas doing the pushing, a lot of innocents on both sides suffer
