I have had YECs try to claim that the UNIVERSE is 15e9 years old, it’s only the Earth that’s younger. And I’ve had them claim that the Universe was created 6000 years ago to LOOK 15e9 years old.

I told them it was very thoughtful of God to write the entire history of stars that never existed into the lightwaves already in flight from where the stars never were.

They mumbled something about the speed of light changing….

“We know the Earth’s billions of years old because of radioactive decay.”

“Well, how do we know the decay rate hasn’t changed?!”
