most of us are praying to god that trump doesn’t fuck up because we have credit card debt that will ruin us. we’ll pay it off, just around the corner when we get paid a little more. but this is how we live in the middle class. there is a class below us that can’t even get a card. but we don’t want to know about them.

I can’t get a card. Eleven years of homelessness tends to foul up your creditworthiness for life, even if you never defaulted on a single payment to anyone.

Everything I do is cash. My wife has a credit card, and she spoke to her card company about putting me on it. They told her they would not do it.
