Yes, the reply to Joy below likely comes from a Berner, but he’s definitely got a point:
NEWS: Sens. Graham, Cassidy and other cosponsors met today to discuss how to bring their Obamacare repeal bill back in 2018.

They’re not done. And they won’t stop until they take it all: your healthcare, Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security, in the service of themselves and their super rich donors. Elections matter, folks. The two parties are NOT the same. https://t.co/O7Xr8YPkc0

You’re right, Joy. The parties are not the same. When the GOP has power it passes its most ambitious goals at any cost. When the Democrats have power, they look for bipartisanship regardless of how desperate the need for reform is. https://t.co/hGNeBa1thQ

Since the GOP has crapped all over the concept of “bipartisanship” over and over again, and their giving Obama the finger (*cough* Garland *cough*) resulted in only wins, it’s high time the Dems learned to fight fire with fire and ditch incrementalism, nuance, and compromise with GOPers (nowadays, the equivalent of negotiating with terrorists).
As I’ve said repeatedly, low-info voters respond to flash-bang showmanship and big, sweeping ideas. The fastest way to lose their respect and their vote is to come across as a wuss incapable of fighting for or standing up for what you believe in.
