I watched this documentary on Netflix. When I saw the young women handling the sanitary pads, I teared up.

The idea that cheap, home-grown pads for menstruation can help young women stay in school and bring money to the women who sell them is great.

My mother and grandmother told me what they had to use when they were young. It blew my mind, and I shook to think of having to deal with that. Lordy.
