Reminds me of the scene in Lincoln where Lincoln pays a surprise visit to the 2 sleazy lobbyists who are helping to get the Thirteenth Amendment passed. One of the sleazoids, startled by Lincoln’s unannounced appearance, jumps up and blurts out, “Well, I’ll be fucked!”
Lincoln laconically replies, “Seems likely,” then goes on with his business.
