IANAL, but if I recall correctly, being mentally ill doesn’t keep you from being tried, it’s being so mentally ill that you can’t be held responsible for your actions. Everything he put online shouts that that’s not the case here — he knew what he was doing and that society frowns on mass murder.

That’s what white supremacists miss and what Republicans are trying to help them regain. How much better would America be, they think, if that part of Buffalo could just be razed?
