Coronado has two ways in and out, by auto. One is over the Coronado Bay bridge, the other is down the “silver strand” which heads south down to the southern end of the county.

Yes, if they are having a get together in Coronado that means this is for the well heeled.

The town itself is heavily dominated by ex-military.

I never really liked visiting it, though I did go to a 4th of July fireworks show once at the park on the east side of the town.
