It’s like every previous round of hostilities: Hamas lets rockets fly, Israel starts stomping on its ass, the media spends a few days engaged in hysterics over how there will ever be peace so long as both sides hate each other, a ceasefire is negotiated, and Hamas jumps on TV to tell anybody who will listen that it has fought Israel to a standstill.

and innocent people are killed and nothing changes and nothing is accomplished
