re: #244 wheat-dogghazi

A few off the top of my head if I could actually get them answered:

Please detail your relationship with Wikileaks. Is it true WL’s Sarah Harrision flew with you from HK, lived with you at the Sheremetyevo Airport and afterward, and has been aiding in your planning? Is it accurate, as Julian Assange has claimed, that Wikileaks has helped you pay for transportation and lodgings? Have they provided you any other direct or indirect financial support? Are you in contact with Assange?

You now serve on the board of Press Freedom Foundation, along with the journalists who cover you most closely. Also Press Freedom Foundation raises money for Wikileaks, which according to Assange, has been supporting you with their resources. Do you see a conflict of interest in any of this?

In the interest of transparency, estimate the total number of documents you stole.

Glenn Greenwald has long claimed that you’ve distributed your entire document trove, encrypted, to additional people all around the world. Is this true? How many people? Have you shared it with Wikileaks?

Again, for someone who advocates transparency, why have you so far failed to hold a true press conference where you’d be subjected to unpredictable and adversarial questioning?

De Spiegel claims you’ve been living in a “safe house” in Moscow, the location not even known by your closest associates, where Russian security guard you 24 hours a day, and that you’re not allowed to leave without them. Spiegel also said all meetings with you are negotiated through Russian security. Is this true? If so why did you claim to Bart Gellman that you have no agreements or relationship with the Russian gov’t? What exactly are the rules and restrictions you’ve agreed to live under and that are the conditions of your continued asylum?
