No, the pro gun control side is not as extreme as the anti gun control side. You’re dead wrong on this.

It does not have to be ‘as extreme’ for my statement to work. What was saying is that the anti-gun side’s far end drives its actions, not its moderates. The same is true on the pro-gun side. Which far end is further out matters less than the fact that the issue is driven by those far ends.
