Police departments have faced lawsuits as the result of using Taser products which have led to death or serious injury. I see this as a way for Taser to continue to sell its products with the added ability to have video evidence of usage in case of lawsuits.

So no, this isn’t Taser being nice. This is Taser protecting itself and its market.
