It’s even worse with drinks. I couldn’t possibly count, hell a Cray mainframe couldn’t possibly count, the times I’ve gone to grab a beer or pour a drink and asked a lady friend if I could get one for her, and she’s said, “Oh no, I’ll just take a sip of yours,” and I’ve said, “No you won’t.” Is this a Venus/Mars thing or is it somehow hardwired into our evolutionary process, and if so how?
